XS Latin triumphs at British Open
Eight teams were entered but two late withdrawals meant that six teams contested the 2017 British Open Formation Championship. In recent years, this championship has been dominated by teams from China and the USA, but with no teams from either country in attendance this year the title was destined to go to a different country.

XS Latin secures seventh consecutive UK championship title
The growth of formation dancing in the UK in recent years saw the 2017 UK Championships being expanded to two days. The Adult Formation Championship took place on Saturday 20th June, on the same day as the Junior 4 Couple and the Juvenile 8 Couple Championships.

XS Success in Emsdetten
XS Latin started its 2017 campaign by taking both the A and B teams to the ThyGer Dance Gala in Emsdetten, Germany. Sixteen teams were entered for the competition but a late withdrawal from one German team meant that fifteen formations took to the floor to compete for the title.

BYU Pip Beijing to British Open Title as Two XS Teams Make the Final
2016 saw the British Open Festival amend its regular timetable and the Latin Formation Championship move from the usual Friday slot to Wednesday evening. Eight high standard teams arrived to contest the title with a semi-final and final round being scheduled.
