XS Latin is holding a free latin formation taster session, and also auditioning for their A and B teams, on Thursday 17th July 2014.
Both teams are recruiting men and women at this time. Whether you are a beginner looking for an exciting new activity, or an experienced competitor aspiring to compete internationally, XS has a place for you!
The castings / taster session will take place at Milton Community Centre on Coles Rd, Milton, CB24 6BL. There are two parts to the evening and there will be something there for everyone to enjoy!:
2000 – 2100: Introduction to Latin Formation session (for those with no previous ballroom or latin dance experience)
2100 – 2200: Castings session (for those with previous ballroom or latin dance experience).
It is NOT necessary to bring along a dance partner. It is free to attend and all are welcome to come and try it out, so come along and bring your friends!
Those attending should wear comfortable clothes that are loose enough to dance in, and bring a water bottle. If you have latin dance shoes then please bring these; if not, don’t worry, jazz shoes or trainers are fine!
If you would like further information about the session or joining XS, please do not hesitate to get in touch by emailing contact@xslatin.org. You should also contact this email address if you would like to join but are unable to attend the castings session. We will be very glad to hear from you. Otherwise, see you there!

Hi, I saw an advert about your Formation Team in the Dance Today magazine, I was very interested to see if you have any availability to join. However, I see that you had auditions in July, so I may be too late. If not, I am able to come to Cambridge during the day if you are able to see me, if possible during August.
I am a very keen dancer and have been dancing for years. I currently teach Ballet, Modern/Jazz, Tap and Bollywood. I used to dance with Peggy Spencer in Croydon, Surrey.
I hope to hear your response soon. Regards Pam Clarke
Hi – no, it’s not too late 🙂 I’ll send you a private email with more information!
