Thirty dancers from the XS Latin A, B and C teams descended on Quayside on Saturday 6th July to perform an impromptu latin-based flashmob to the delight of the crowds of onlookers!
This was a great opportunity for the teams to raise awareness of what they do and share how much they love performing; dancing in the open air on a day when everyone was basking by the Cam in glorious sunshine was so much fun and the reaction XS got from the public was brilliant!
The imaginative and entertaining routine, choreographed by XS Latin coach David Mallabone, started with a girl in jeans dancing the rumba alone, with the flashmob progressively growing to include more and more dancers.
Particular thanks go to Stu Cork for putting together the video of the event.

This is an ideal time to join one of our formation teams. Whether you are a beginner looking for an exciting new activity, or an experienced competitor aspiring to compete internationally, XS has a place for you.
All three teams are currently recruiting enthusiastic and team-spirited new members, both men and women, aged between 15 and 40 years.
There will be a free taster session for new people to see what formation is like, and be invited to join one of the teams, on Thursday 25th July. This will be held at Mayfield Primary School, CB4 3HN, from 2030 to 2200.
All are welcome to come and try it out; there is no need to bring a partner.
If you would like further information about the free session or joining XS, please get in touch by emailing contact@xslatin.org and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
