On Monday June 25th the XS Latin Club celebrated a successful year with its annual team dinner. The last 12 months, in which the A team retained both its British National Championship and its UK Adult Formation Championship titles, has been a significant one for XS as it has seen the competitive debut of the B team. In such a short space of time XS Latin B has reached the final of the Danube Cup second division competition in Austria in December and placed fourth at the 2012 British Open Championship.
The team presentations for the year took place. The A team Players’ Player of the Year was awarded to Rachel Hardisty, with Adrian Potter winning the B team equivalent. Sophie Robertson was awarded the XS Team Member of the Year shield for her energy and work in starting the B team.
