How to subscribe to the XS TV Podcasts

There are currently 2 podcasts available on XS TV:
How do you subscribe, I hear you ask?  That very much depends on the device you are using. Below are instructions for a few of the traditional ones.
It should go without saying that the URLs above are SECRET and should not be shared with anyone who’s not a current XS member. For that reason, you will obviously not find the podcast in the iTunes store, and will have to follow the steps below (which really are anything but complex…)

iTunes (on Mac and PC)

Go to Advanced > Subscribe to Podcast and paste your selected URL.
iTunes will subscribe and automatically download the latest one. You can manually download previous ones. From now on, iTunes should automatically download any new one

iPhone, iPod and iPad

If you don’t have it yet, download Apple’s “Podcasts” app.In the “Podcasts” view (*not* the “Catalog” view), paste the URL into the search bar and press “Search”.
A popup will appear asking you if you want to subscribe.
The app will then allow to stream the videos without downloading them (if you are online) or to download them with the little download button. You can also configure the app to auto-download any new video when they appear on the podcast

Android

The same principles as above apply. You will have an app that you use to read the URL and subscribe to it. I hear a lot of positive things about BeyondPod for example. Some do this through your Google Reader account, in which subscribing to a new podcast is as simple as pressing “Subscribe” and pasting the URL.

Blackberry

Again, it should be quite simple. There is apparently a Blackberry Podcast app that will do the trick. More information at http://www.simplemobilereview.com/how-to-subscribe-to-podcasts-on-the-blackberry-for-free/

PC or Mac (but hate iTunes?)

There are loads of free or cheap applications out there to subscribe to and manage podcasts. I can’t comment on any of them, but again, the same principles should apply
