Read moreThe British Open Latin Formation Championship 2013 was held on 31st May in Blackpool, less than two weeks after both the XS Latin A and B teams returned from competing at the WDSF European Latin Formation Championships in Lithuania. With four XS couples also competing earlier in the week in the individual Amateur events at Blackpool (27th and 29th May), this meant that there was very little rehearsal time available to the teams between the two competitions!

Read moreUndeterred by the snowy weather, over 40 dancers attended the XS 2013 casting session held on Monday 14th January at Milton Community Centre. Dancers ranged from complete beginners to experienced competitors, having heard about XS through the team’s latest advertising campaign, which included appearances by XS members in the local paper and on the radio.

XS Latin is NOW SEEKING new dancers of all experience levels to join them for 2013!
Both the A team (intermediate to championship level dancers) and B team (beginner to intermediate level dancers) are currently looking for enthusiastic, team-spirited new dancers.
Read moreXS Latin closed the 2012 season with both the A and B teams travelling to Vienna to participate in the annual 2012 Danube Cup. With teams from Austria, Poland, Hungary, Germany and the UK the competition promised to be an exciting end to the year.
Read moreThe 2012 World Formation Championship was held in Bremen, Germany, in December. With three of the top four ranked teams dancing new programmes, the anticipation amongst formation aficionados was great. XS Latin drew 13th in the first round and danced their best ever performance at a World Championship, after making small changes to their Bat Out of Hell choreography. With three recalls to the semi-final the team placed in a clear 13th position and were one recall from the team in 11th position. This also made them the highest placed British team in the competition.
