Over 50 dancers attended the XS 2012 Casting session held on Monday 9th January at Milton Community Centre. The dancers represented a wide range of abilities from complete beginners in Latin American dance to very experienced competitors. 

XS Latin A and B teams travelled to Vienna for the annual Danube Cup on 17th December 2011.  The first division had an entry of 13 teams, including the recent World Championship finalists Zwölfwaxing A team, the German first division team Backnang A team and XS Latin A team. The second division had an entry of 11 teams and was XS Latin B team’s first international competition.

The XS Latin B team made its competitive formation dancing debut at the British National Championships in Blackpool on the 17th November 2011.

XS B Team has moved training venues to a larger hall and will now be training regularly at Cottenham Village College Sports Centre on Thursdays from 1830 to 2000.  If you would like to come along and find out more about what we do then please visit us or contact David Mallabone.

XS B Team held its first training session tonight, which was attended by about 30 eager people!  The team will be dancing a brand new routine to the music of the Broadway musical Cabaret and are aiming to be ready for competition by the end of the year.  Anyone interested in joining or finding out more should contact David Mallabone, the head coach for the Adult teams.

XS Latin is starting a brand new B team! Aimed at those dancers who do not think that they have the time or experience to dedicate to joining the A team, the B team will train on Thursdays from 6.30pm to 8pm and will be dancing a brand new routine.
